This book does the exact opposite: it gives many reasons for the convert to be joyful about his or her new life as a Jew. Containing quotes from many Chassidic rebbim including Rebbe Nachman of Breslov and the Lubavitcher Rebbe, the book shows how Torah and Talmud as well as chassidut praise the convert and encourage Jews to show them love and respect. The book is written with passion and anavah (humility). A big yshar kochekha to the author.
However don't be deluded - the reality in most Orthodox circles is the opposite. From a practical point of view the ger is the person you don't want you children to marry.
Nice book, sad reality...

To yby

My teacher, a Chassid says:
Those born into frum life pity the ger and the ba'al teshuv's.
The ger and ba'al teshuv's pity those born into frum life.

The truth is all are converts...and humans are human
