That niggun is one of the very best of all the tremendous Simply Tsfat tunes. I only wish they would play more of there slow stuff in concert.
Michoel: Yes, this lyric really resonated with me. How many times have you seen them in concert?
I think it has been 3 times. I had the great z'chus to help arange two concerts for them in Baltimore and I consider them the to be dear friends. I was just telling my wife that since becoming frum, this was the first sefira that the lack of music was really hard for me. Having grown up listening to lots of different stuff very intensively, I couldn't find anything that really resonated with me as a frum Jew, that I really loved listening to also. Simply Tsfat has really filled that void.
Michoel: It is funny you mention that. On Lag B'Omer I listened to the new Simply Tsfat CD again after having only listened to only acapella music during the days of sefira preceeding it. Hearing their music again was fantastic.
