Like A Prisoner

The joy we experienced at the giving of the Torah surpasses the happiness we had at the time of the exodus. Like a prisoner looking forward to his liberation, we count the days from Pesach to Shavuos, demonstrating our yearning for the day of Kabbalas Hatorah.
