Fourth Candle, First Word

Standing holding my seven month-old daughter after lighting the menorah, she opened her mouth and said her first word, "Dada".

Over and over she kept repeating it.

The fourth candle will forever remain special to me.

We, too, had a special, first-time experience last night. The Modzitzer Rebbe Shlita lit Chanuka candles publicly, for the first time in Modzitz history [his predecessors did NOT do so!]. It was a truly uplifting experience!
Congrats, "Dada" on you dtr's first word! Lots of nachas!

Thanks Yitz!

Was there a particular reason that they never lit candles in public?
