Telling stories

Don’t just tell children a story; emphasize that this story belongs to them, that it is their personal legacy. Demonstrate clearly how they themselves are related to these events of the past. And then explain that you are transmitting these tales to them not merely for their own education or entertainment, but so that they will remember to pass the story on as a legacy to their children in turn.
