What they think about you

From your opinion of others, we know their opinion of you.

Here is a good explanation by Rabbi Zelig Pliskin:

"The way you see people is the way they will be in your presence. You the observer have a major effect on the person with whom you interact. Radiate positive energy and this positive energy will be reflected back to you again and again."

Wow, yes, as Yetta said, quite harsh.

Of course, if you take it further, by changing your opinion of others, you can change their opinion of you as well. Kamayim hapanim el panim...I think I'm going to blog something along the same lines...although might not post it until tonight. It's something that's so important, a key to life, if you will. The idea that you can really impact another person's attitude towards you (and all your stand for) by changing your own attitude towards them--well, it's important in marriage, raising children, building friendships, everything!

Thank you once again, SJ, for a thought-provoking post :)
