Do your part to support the Jews of Gaza by planting a tree for Tu B'Shevat.

On Tu B’Shvat This Year We Plant and Deepen Our Roots in Gush Katif
“'When you enter the land and plant” (Lev. 19:23) – The Holy One Blessed be He said to the People of Israel: “Although you shall find it filled with all manner of good things, do not say ‘let us sit and not plant’. Rather, take care to plant … Just as you entered the land and found plants that others had planted before you, so you, too, plant for your sons … Therefore, no man should refrain from planting. Just as he found that others had planted, he should continue to plant, even in old age” (Midrash Tanhuma on Leviticus).
S.Y. Agnon wrote some decades ago: “When the People of Israel stand firmly on the ground even the nations of the world praise them. Happy is the man who devotes himself to the Land and works to populate it. For whoever does so makes His Sublime Name known in heaven and on earth and increases the honor of the People of Israel, just like a newly planted tree which grows ever upward”.
A year ago just before Tu B’Shvat of 2004 the Prime Minister announced his plan to expel the settlements of Gush Katif. From that day on the inhabitants of Gush Katif are doing their best to fulfill the verse “Enlarge the place of your tent” (Isaiah 54:2), in order to demonstrate to the people of Israel just how determined the people of Gush Katif are to remain there forever.
This year we would like to make you a part of our effort, by giving you an opportunity to by your Tu B’Shvat seedlings from the Gush Katif tree nurseries and to plant them in the villages and IDF army bases in the area.

Oh for god sakes, just get of gaza. Its not the land of your fathers. It was never part of historical israel. you're being reimbursed, and its something real you can do to help bring peace and save Israeli wives, so stop whining, take your money and GET OUT
