Who you are
The inscription on my great-grandfather's tombstone reads:
Beloved Husband
Beloved Father
It does not say that he was a grocer.
Why?
Because what he DID was not WHO he was.
You are not your position title.

Good! Because I don't have a job.
It was only after my second child was born did I realize work was not my priority in life. Okay, so, I had to work. And I would do my best while at work, but I wasn't going to go that extra little bit because that would take away from my family time. And I stopped getting all bent out of shape when I was passed up for a promotion (although the extra money would be nice) or I wasn't acknowledged for something or an opportunity wasn't given to me. I might be here most of the day, but my heart is with my family.
