Patience

How have you become a more patient person?

I'm not sure I have, but I keep trying. Different techniques work in different places.

Books on tape work in the car, and keep me from being an aggressive driver.

Deep breathing (or walking away) works with my family, and keeps me from saying things I will most certainly regret.

Posting on my blog works for many things. It certainly keeps me from writing sarcastic emails that shouldn't be written let alone spoken.

Handling and managing a help desk has made me more patient with those who have little experience with computers.

Working in the "real-world" has made me more patient with those who believe differently than I do.

Working with kids who are learning disabled.
Working with teenagers in general. (All instructions must be repeated minimum three times.)
Trying really hard to listen to myself.
Observe patient people and copy them.
