Crawling Backwards

My eight month old son started crawling backwards on Monday. He was even able to sit himself up after laying flat on his back. My lil' tzaddik appears to be very proud of his new accomplishments. At 20+ pounds (in the 95th percentile for weight), he looks like a little Michelin Man.

It is amazing how quickly children develop at his age. One day they cannot do something and the next day they are already doing it. Before I know it, he will be up walking around and saying "Mama" and "Dada".

You'd better keep up with your son because I hate to tell you -- he might not be "up walking around"; the likelihood is that he'll be "up running around".

My oldest son couldn't walk till he was about 13 months, but at 9 months old he could work his way up and down stairs rather quickly.

Let your son be well.

Re. your comment on my site: Remember, you can never be short of material. Just offer us what you know best -- family and Torah.

Hehehe my 7month old just started to crawl today. He has been rocking back and forth on his hand and knees and today...he figured if he moves them forward, he moves too! It was an exciting moment for his big sister and brother to see. Enjoy the little one...they do get so big so fast...but dont rush the milestones..because once they start, they dont stop :-)
