His Favorite And Mine - Yosef Karduner

My 10-month old son is very excited that his favorite artist, Yosef Karduner, has released a new CD. Whenever I have a difficulty getting my son to sleep I put on a Yosef Karduner CD. He will start to calm down immediately upon hearing Karduner's voice. My lil' tzaddik is usually sound asleep after about four or five songs. Needless to say, I just ordered the new CD. It wouldn't surprised me if grows up to be a Breslover chassid.

HOW EXCITING! I also LOVE Karduner! I first heard him on Breslov.com as their background music. It was the "Roadmarks/The Whole World" CD. I cried the first time I heard it, it was the most spiritual music I have ever heard in my life. In fact it took me several times to get through it with out crying. Anytime I was feeling agitated I would just put that CD on and I was calmed. Presently I am listening to "Choices", another favorite of mine and my little one I nanny for. She is just 6 months old so he has some pretty young fans. ;-) Thanks so much for the update!

Philly Farmgirl: I agree. Roadmarks/The Whole World is a fantastic CD. It is probably my favorite Jewish music CD.

His music and the profound message in the lyric brought me closer to my roots than anything else.

I spent Hannuka with my family in Israel, my mother and I sat in the kitchen with a cup of coffee and talked about life... and his Shir La Ma'alot was playing in the background... I stopped the conversation and fought the tears in my eyes.

I don't know what happened in that moment.... but it hit a raw nerve. While in the airport on my way back to England... I bought his double CD...

I play it all the time....I truly feel it is instrumental in a new way of thinking... as if someone put the light on for me.

One of those moments in time... I am so glad to read that I am not the only one who gets emotional when I hear his songs :)

Hi Everyone,
I´m madly in love with the Shir La'maalot song! Can anyone give advise which of his cds is the best and how many is out there.

Although I do not know hebrew and haven't got the slightest idea what he is singing I JUST LOVEEEE IT!

If anyone have the Shir La'maalot lyrics in English I deeply appreciate if you can forward it to me.

God bless!

I listen to Karduner's music while I commute every day. Its hard to get angry in traffic or with other driver when I am listening him sing worship to the Lord. I sing along with him-although I don't speak Hebrew I have found the English words to several oof the songs and by listening to the songs so often I can now sing along in perfect Hebrew :-)
Blessings on Karduner !
