Thanks to my friend Treppenwitz (http://bogieworks.blogs.com/), I got the idea of doing a weekly photo posting. Each Tuesday I plan to post a different photo of my family's shtetl in Ukraine.

Please let me know what you think of the idea.

It dosn't look all that different than many other places in America through which I've passed... but that dirt path is sure to produce some serious mud after the rain.

I remember from my visit to the town of Breslov about 14 years ago that the mud was incredible!
We fell down a few times, and there was simply no way to get it off the clothing.
It was really more of a clay than the mud I grew up with in New England.
