Degel Machaneh Ephraim Translation Project

Last Friday, I discovered that Rabbi Tal Zwecker of Ramat Bet Shemesh, Israel is in the process of translating the sefer Degel Machaneh Ephraim into English. While small excerpts of this sefer have been translated in the past, this will be the first time in almost 200 years that it will be translated from its original Hebrew.

More information on Rabbi Zwecker's translations of other Chassidic seforim can be found here.

Tax deductible donations for the Degel Machaneh Ephraim Translation Project may be sent to:

Tal Zwecker c/o Ben Farkas
366 Church Ave
Woodmere, NY 11598

Checks should be made payable to "Mosdos Cleveland"

UPDATE: Sample chapters of Degel Machaneh Ephraim can be read here.

If you cannot read and understand "Lashon Kodesh".
Learn that first so you can understand what you are saying when you make a brocho, or daven.
To tranlate Seforim from Kedoshei elyon to english is DISGUSTING

So you would rather let the huge number of Baalei Teshuvah who are seeking Hashem and his Torah be left in the cold if they can't learn something in the original language?

I'm glad the Gedolei Torah disagree with you.

Your attitude prevents the Geulah and holds back Moshiach.

wow! i just read in english, bs"d, the translation of some of noam elimelech. a blessing on your head, "a simple jew", for bringing this to us!
"When the righteous mashiach will sprout and come forth, the night will become erev, meaning the darkness shall be sweetened as evev also means pleasing and sweet. this alludes to the holy Shechina, the divine presence that is to the west, the ma'arav, which has the same linguistic root as erev. by evening time, the time of sweetening, the light will shine, all will be restored an set right, there will be complete unity as previously existed before the shattering of the vessels. "and there was morning one day". everything will come together in unity and oneness, then night will also be transformed into day.
