Below is an excerpt from the Breslov Center's website: Pesach Customs (.pdf)

Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Bender once remarked: "I knew people who ate machine matzos who are in Gan Eden today; and I knew people who ate hand matzos who are in Gehenna today. Ober mir fieren zach az meh est handt matzos… However, our custom is to eat hand matzos."

I seem to recall that HaRav Aryeh Kaplan told me that there are [some] Breslovers who eat machine matzos, and also gebruckts [matzo that is "soaked", such as placed in soup, which many Chassidim do NOT eat on Pesach]. He said the emphasis on Pesach was on simcha.

Interesting quote, I think it means that there are lager deeds that ultimately defines true frumkeit, not the peyos, not the amount of waving during the amidah, not even the hand matzos!

Pragmatician: Exactly. I shared this since I have noticed that Breslov tends to take a more moderate approach on Pesach which you can also see in my "Slave To The Details" Posting that quotes Sichos HaRan #235.

Yitz: Rebe Nachman himself did not eat gebroksts as well as his talmidim.

I know of no Chassidim who eat machine matzos. In most of east Europe until after World war 1 all matzos were generally baked by hand including what can be called peshuttoth.
In Jerusalem the yishuv hayashen to a great etent is very liberal on this issue and certainly many perushim eat machine shemura including the late rosh Bes din rav Pinchos Epstein ZT"L.
