My name is Gary Groner. My family came to Canada from Hungary after WWII. I think I might somehow be related to Dov Gruner. As a child, I remember hearing about this hero and patriot of Israel in our family. Do you know anything about his genealogy or where I might find such information? Thanks.

I am curious if following the comment of Gary Groner who posted a comment on December 25, 2006 he ever found out if he was related to Dov Gruner and how? My Dad was in the US Army in WW II and met Dov Gruner in Italy following the war - Dov was in the Jewish Brigade of the British Army with my Dad's brother and I have pictures of all three of them in Italy in 1945. If Gary Groner or another relative is reading this let me know
I know for fact that im related to Dov Gruner. If you are too / did know dov gruner or somethin, let me know.
Really hard to find reletives..Almost all people you could of asked for that stuff died in ww2 or somthin.

In his book, "The Lion's Gate" about the 6 Day War, Steven Pressfield wrote about Dov Gruner's brother having a son (Dov's nephew) who was at the conquest of the Old City.
I have never come across any reference to Dov having a brother. Do you know of him?
