Yesod Of Yesod

Today is forty-one days, which is five weeks and six days of the Omer.

Supposedly, today is also my wife's due date.

Yesod she'byesod happens to be the yahrzeit of at least three great Rabbeim:

1. Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto, the Ramchal, author of Mesilas Yesharim & Derech Hashem; buried in Tiveria near Rabbi Akiva.

2. Rebbe Shlomo of Zvil, buried in Yerushalayim.

3. Rebbe Shmuel Eliyahu of Zvolin, son of Rebbe Yechezkel of Kuzmir and father of the first Modzitzer Rebbe, the Divrei Yisrael.

see more on him here.

Yitz: Only Hashem knows if today is actually the due day. When I left this morning my wife was experiencing some back pain....who knows, perhaps it is getting closer.

The posting that you linked to was fantastic and I recommend that others read it as well. Thanks, Yitz!

Praying she has an easy labor and delivery! Do you folks use a doula? I highly recommend one!
