I saw these posted on the forum on Breslov World and thougth they were amazing. I especially like the B&Ws. I hadn't seen the color ones before, thanks for posting them!
Got a shiver when I saw the face on the guy (pic #2) in the truck - as if, "Where did they all come from? I thought we ... 55 years ago. What do we have to do to ... ... ... them?"
And there they are, in Yom Tov regalia, in full Jewish out loud identity, like they all came back and were taking over Hashem's world!
Neshama: Yes, that guy in the truck creeps me out as well.
MCAryeh: G-d willing, next week I am going to post Chabakuk Elisha's account of his Rosh Hashana in Uman. He just got back this week and is polishing his posting up now.
I am an artist and I think these photos of the Uman gathering are impressive. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get in touch with the photographer who took this pictures. I would like to do some drawings using these photos.

Thank you A Yid for telling me about these.
Pic #10 & 11 are of the 6 year old son of "sofer of Tzfas"!
chabakuk elisha: I wrote to Shmuel about it.
A Simple Jew: I found them by searching Uman 2006 chasid (in Russian).
Great, just supiritifically great!

Amazing pics, especially the black and whites. Must be quite a sight in real life to see so many yidden descending upon Uman...
Excellent, wonderful series.

Hugo: Thanks, my friend!
The photographer that made them is a professional, that's why photos are such high quality.
The first guy is a Lubavitcher from New York!
Hirshel Tzig: You see, even Lubavitchers come to Uman for Roysh haShone :)))
