Erez Levanon, HY"D

"...the murderers most likely waited in ambush for him. Erez often went to the same spot at the same time each day to pray alone, in the custom of Breslover Hassidim."

He is just, and I don't question Him, but even so, Ad Masai, Hashem?

R' Brody said it and I think it's very true: Since we don't have the Holy Temple and ritual sacrifices that atone for our sins, Erez of blessed and saintly memory was undoubtedly taken as a flawless sacrifice for all of Israel. We are therefore required - wherever we may be - to mourn his death.

Please take your time, wherever you may be, to listen to his songs and cry for him...

I am heartbroken.

May Erez have a "lechtigeh Gan Eden" and may Hashem comfort his wife and family and chaverim, as well as all Klal Yisrael.

As Dovid HaMelekh said, "Ani shalom, ve-khi adaber -- heimah la-milchomah..." (Tehillim 120)

He must have been a true tzaddik. Had I listened to his song "maayan" without knowing the story I probably would've started crying anyway...
Please please take a moment to listen to his song and send it to others, to connect to this jew...
