My apologies, ASJ, I am on vacation or I would have commented sooner :-) The oblique angle and raking light are interesting ... I don't think I've seen you do this yet (you usually seem to shoot from head on). I like how you've captured the solidity of the dresser, and it's interesting that you've seem to transform the texture of the dresser into something harder and more chrome-like. This has a lot to do with your developing, I think (although I'm not sure what process you are using) -- so, on the left, it's virutally like silver, rather than maple or mahogany. There's very little depth, so it's harder and colder than your other pictures, and the angle and POV gives it a sense of speed. Was the room brightly lit at the time? I'm sticking with the trees as my favorite. This is a good, solid picture. I commend you for stretching and admire the textural effects, but overall this one seems less "you."
Baruch Hashem for the mice the other morning! And thank G-d that you're neighbor walked away unscathed.
Thank you for your honest feedback again. Out of the pictures that I took last weekend, this was my least favorite, but I still was interested to get feedback on it.

I assume this one is not interesting, Veronique?
