Yes; the pic you refer to was of Rabbi Wasilski. It was actually taken in Chevron on Erev Rosh Hashanah, (I'm 99% certain) after zchor bris selichos. A bus left after selichos to kever rochel and chevron. Same for the last picture in this set. Above the group dancing, you can see Reb Nosson Libermentch with his back to the wall clapping his hands.
The 2 of Reb Shmuel Shapiro were in Miron, and the series of RLY was going to and returning from the kosel was taken the same day I took the vasikin shots.
the bag under his hand had his towel and he often stopped at the store on the way home off the bus to do grocery shopping for his rebbitzen.
BTW; the young man with RLY in these pics is menachem friedman, brother of reb yitzchok friedman of williamsburg.
These pics bring back wonderful and spiritual memories.

The fifth picture from the top in this series is my favorite.
That was the spot that RLY had hisboddedus/tefilah for 60-75 minutes each day after shachris.
It is in the covered area at the kosel -- just as you walk in on the right side.
It is actually blocked nowadays by a seforim cabinet.
He would get off the bus, walk to that corner, and daven there without interruption for over an hour.

Is that Reb Herschel Wasilski, second from the bottom?
In Yerushalayim?
Thanks for all of these historic shots!

the first picture on the top is my favorite. something about it just strikes me.
Thanks ASJ and R. Yakov Horowitz for sharing these!
BTW; RLY generally walked the way you see him in these pics, with his hands above his waist.
