The book The Janowska Road has more information about this "bone-crushing machine" and I plan to read it in the near future. The image of this machine has stayed with me since I saw it in the museum in Kiev. I don't think I will ever forget it.

That's an appropriate response. It's not even really registering in my mind it is so heinous.
