Rashi on Bereishis 28:10:
The departure of a tzaddik from a place makes an impression, for while the tzaddik is in the city, he is its beauty, he is its splendor, he is its majesty. When he departs from there, its beauty has departed, its splendor has departed, its majesty has departed.

As an example of the impression a tzadik makes when he leaves a place, Rashi, in his commentary on Bereishis 28:10, cites the departure of the tzadekes, Naomi, from Moab, as it states, "And she departed from the place" (Ruth 1:7). See the commentary of Rashi there, where he makes the same observation as he did in his commentary on Bereishis 28:10.
This Rashi is a great proof of the impact each of us can have if we attach ourselves to the "Makom"-Hashem, wherever we may be.
