Finally Awake
Another year of school comes to a close for you.
And where was I?
A whole year passed by before I could even focus properly.
This time escaped me; slipped through my fingers.
Futile is my lament or attempt to reset the clock.
Futile is my attempt to be there for you when I wasn't.
But I am now awake.
Determined to live in the present.
And where was I?
A whole year passed by before I could even focus properly.
This time escaped me; slipped through my fingers.
Futile is my lament or attempt to reset the clock.
Futile is my attempt to be there for you when I wasn't.
But I am now awake.
Determined to live in the present.

Reb Noson says somewhere that living in the present is a tikkun for the past and the future!
