אַשְׂכִּילָה בְּדֶרֶךְ תָּמִים
I don’t know where I am in the world. All I know is how distant I feel from You, and how much damage I have done. From the time I was young until today, I’ve not had a single day I could call perfect and flawless. Even on those occasions when You helped me arose myself and start trying to serve You, I was never able to persist and keep following the path of holiness for more than a short while. Even when You have helped me, I’ve not had pity on myself. I’ve not tried to stand firm for even a single day. (Likutey Tefillos #13)

That is so me! And, I would assume, each and every one of us as well.
It is often in our small victories that we really need to take notice.
Nice teaching.
I also have to say that this post made me want to go out and get Likutey Teffilos, so I did!
This is a sad prayer indeed because you focus on your PAST; A much better prayer is to stay focused on what you will do to become BETTER. Forget the past, or at least stop the loshon hara of yourself, and take on resolutions to improve! Stop crying and start recording your new accomplishments instead.
Hi, You don't know me, but i was wondering if there was a way to comment to you personally and privately. Thanks

To whom are you addressing your message?
A reflection of our day to day struggles we all have to face one way or another, our most recent past was just one second ago, our immediate future one second ahead..I ask G-d to guide me every next second
This prayer is so simple and plain and so true. It speaks for what I feel and was so sweet to read. Thank ytou for posting it. Gut Shabbos!
It isn't fair. So many Yidden follow your words, and you have such beautiful things to say, therefore you must post more frequently, we need you.
Tanach / Bible, Iyov/ Job, chapter 4, verse 18:
Behold, He [G_d] does not trust His servants…
Rashi: The righteous people. He does not trust that they will not sin against Him, so He takes them out of the world before their time.
Ibn Ezra: There is no faith in His servants comparable to His, because He alone is perfect, without defect.
